コンポーザー・プレイヤー・録音エンジニア・オーディオエンジニアなど様々な肩書きを持つサウンドアーティストAyumi Nakamuraによるソロプロジェクト。
洗練されたフォークを軸に、インディー・オルタナティブ・アンビエント・エレクトロの要素が丁寧に織り込まれている。
素朴だが鋭い視点の歌詞とダイナミックな展開に誘われ、リスナーはWalmの音楽に心地よく身を任せることになる。
プロデューサーとしても様々なアーティストの制作に参加。近年はサラウンド音響によるライブや映像のための音楽制作も行なっている。
POINT HOPE / The Chimney Sweeperのメンバーであり、ライブセッションプロジェクト”REIMEI SESSION”を共同主催している。
Walm is a solo project by sound artist Ayumi Nakamura, who wears many hats as a composer, performer, recording engineer, and audio engineer.
Centered on sophisticated folk, the music meticulously integrates indie, ambient, and electronic elements.
With simple yet piercing lyrics and dynamic arrangements, his soundscapes invite listeners to fully immerse themselves.
Ayumi also produces for various artists and composes for film and surround-sound performances.
He is a member of POINT HOPE / The Chimney Sweeper and co-founder of the live session project “REIMEI SESSION.”

2016 [The Chimney Sweeper] USのバンドWhitneyの”No Matter Where We Go“のクリスマスアレンジカバーをポスト。Whitney本人等や同じくUSのバンドTwin Peaksが反応するなど各所で話題に。
2017 [POINT HOPE] EP “HOUI”をリリース
2018 [POINT HOPE] ROTH BART BRON/Maika Loubté/揺らぎなど8組を招き大規模自主企画”十年”を開催
2022 [Walm] 1st album “Strata”をリリース
2024 [Walm] 2nd album “Drive Through”をリリース
2026 [Walm] 3rd album “Cabin”をリリース

Go’ by Whitney. It became a topic of conversation in various places, with Whitney themself and the Twin Peaks also responded.

2018 [POINT HOPE] Invited 8 groups such as ROTH BART BRON/Maika Loubté/Yuragi and held a large-scale independent show “JUNEN”.
